Freston, MD, PhD, is a renowned physician and researcher and currently serves as the director of clinical research at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He's spent many years in the Farmington area advancing the medicine that helps us all.

Saint Francis Care... An expert panel organized by the American Diabetes Association is urging people with diabetes over age 50 to have their legs tested for peripheral artery disease (PAD). PAD can narrow arteries in the leg and eventually choke off the flow of blood. Severe PAD can lead to amputations and increase the risk of heart attack or stroke for persons with diabetes.
